Hello! My name is Lauren Exposito and I am a senior at Florida State University. I am originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, but have grown up in Boca Raton, Florida, the majority of my life. A fun fact about me is that I am one-hundred percent Hispanic. My mom being from Colombia, and my dad from Cuba. I hope this gives you somewhat of a background on who I am! 

My prior experiences using technology consists of the use of multiple forums. Here at Florida State, I have taken the CGS graduation requirement course which taught me different ways to use Microsoft Excel. Along with Excel, I have used platforms such as Prezi to make powerpoints slightly more enhanced than those of Microsoft. Lastly, I have used websites like Twitter and Facebook to create pages just for my classes. Using Twitter, I would post short topics and respond to my peers as well. Ultimately, I have used a good amount of technology in an educational setting in my time here at Florida State. 

In this Education Technology course EME2040, I hope to learn and expand my knowledge in educational technology overall. I find myself to be somewhat proficient in a multitude of platforms at the moment, but there is always room for more!
