I believe that I will use data collection surveys and/or reporting to help me as a teacher in the future. Excel is a great tool to use for something like collecting and tracking grades. Excel allows you to along with tracking grades, use functions to get the mean, median, average, mode, and other functions that are not as easily done in a physical gradebook. I would use excel in a class like English to keep track of my students assignments and to see how they do progressively throughout the semester. Ultimately, Excel is a great data collection service that helps people such as teachers to successfully keep track of their students work.  Topics I found most interesting from reviewing my classmates blogs throughout this semester were that students really enjoyed using blogging and Twitter. Diigo is a great website used for bookmarking websites and quotes from websites used to help students gather data. The skills I learned, were great and helped me learn how to accurately gather information for things such as papers. Diigo allows for my information to be gathered in an organized way. This application can be useful in the classroom because it can help students gather information while staying organized. This application can help me in my professional efforts too by keeping information I find on the internet organized and ready to go in its own file.  Bloom's Taxonomy is a set of educational objectives that help set the tone for the classroom. The concept of a Flipped Classroom is very smart. The students being able to teach the lessons allows them to have a more well rounded grasp on the topic because they are forced to think of it in a way that it can be explained and understood by others. One problem that may occur with the Flipped Classroom though, is that students being that they are learning the topic at the same time as teaching it may not have a good way of explaining the topic which can lead to confusion amongst those who are being taught.   An open educational resource is a resource that is open to the public for it’s usage. Students regardless of location or school are able to use these resources to their benefit which helps them excel in their educational path. Twitter has been a great experience thus far. I have learned more about the functions twitter offers than I had prior to making an educational account. The benefit of using twitter is being able to interact with other people you don’t know who have similar opinions as you as well as those who have opposing views. I have not experienced any issues with twitter thus far, and don’t expect to in the future!   News skills I acquired from working on the Web Design website include so many! Working with the website allowed me to learn how to develop my own page, add links to other pages, add separate pages, and ultimately make it creatively my own through fonts and pictures. I loved the Web Design assignment because I would have never known how to develop my own webpage, and because of this, I can use it to make a separate nonfictional page on myself! The school website I chose to analyze was St. Paul Lutheran School in Boca Raton, Florida. The class pages I looked over were Math and Science. The math page talks about how the primary grades use lessons and written practice where as the older grades begin to separate depending on what classes kids test into. The science department uses a general teaching method for all grades, but offers a separate program for older students called STEM. Diigo is a great website to keep track of all of your sources and websites you use. I feel like Diigo is a perfect tool for students because it allows them to organize their websites used. A website like Diigo is ideal for when students are writing papers and have to keep track of what sources they are using. What I did not like about Diigo is that the website itself is a little hard to familiarize yourself with, and can be confusing.  I personally love blogging. Blogging allows you to make posts about any topic on a larger scale platform. What I like about blogging is that there is no standard format that needs to be followed, you are free to express yourself in whichever way you want. I have learned so far about the blogging process that it is extremely easy to make blog posts even from your phone.
