I believe that I will use data collection surveys and/or reporting to help me as a teacher in the future. Excel is a great tool to use for something like collecting and tracking grades. Excel allows you to along with tracking grades, use functions to get the mean, median, average, mode, and other functions that are not as easily done in a physical gradebook. I would use excel in a class like English to keep track of my students assignments and to see how they do progressively throughout the semester. Ultimately, Excel is a great data collection service that helps people such as teachers to successfully keep track of their students work.  Topics I found most interesting from reviewing my classmates blogs throughout this semester were that students really enjoyed using blogging and Twitter. Diigo is a great website used for bookmarking websites and quotes from websites used to help students gather data. The skills I learned, were great and helped me learn how to accurately gather information for things such as papers. Diigo allows for my information to be gathered in an organized way. This application can be useful in the classroom because it can help students gather information while staying organized. This application can help me in my professional efforts too by keeping information I find on the internet organized and ready to go in its own file.  Bloom's Taxonomy is a set of educational objectives that help set the tone for the classroom. The way I would display each level of the triangle on each powerpoint slide. Specifically I would use the triangle to help describe the process of making a powerpoint for a book report. The concept of a Flipped Classroom is very smart. The students being able to teach the lessons allows them to have a more well rounded grasp on the topic because they are forced to think of it in a way that it can be explained and understood by others. One problem that may occur with the Flipped Classroom though, is that students being that they are learning the topic at the same time as teaching it may not have a good way of explaining the topic which can lead to confusion amongst those who are being taught.   An open educational resource is a resource that is open to the public for it’s usage. Students regardless of location or school are able to use these resources to their benefit which helps them excel in their educational path.
