Twitter has been a great experience thus far. I have learned more about the functions twitter offers than I had prior to making an educational account. The benefit of using twitter is being able to interact with other people you don’t know who have similar opinions as you as well as those who have opposing views. I have not experienced any issues with twitter thus far, and don’t expect to in the future!
News skills I acquired from working on the Web Design website include so many! Working with the website allowed me to learn how to develop my own page, add links to other pages, add separate pages, and ultimately make it creatively my own through fonts and pictures. I loved the Web Design assignment because I would have never known how to develop my own webpage, and because of this, I can use it to make a separate nonfictional page on myself! I am looking to go into the fashion industry, and a website design like this will allow me to show off my talents and what I am capable of.
An example of an assistive technology in the classroom is a timer. Teachers use timers to regulate test or quiz times for in classroom activities. Timers are also used on canvas when completing tests and quiz so the students must do the task in a timely manner. I myself remember when I was younger, I would use a timer to help me do my multiplication tables faster, which helped me memorize then in a fun, but timely manner. I have not encountered any challenges using this technology, but I understand how it could present an issue if for example, the timer was to stop working mid exam, or quiz.
