I believe that I will use data collection surveys and/or reporting to help me as a teacher in the future. Excel is a great tool to use for something like collecting and tracking grades. Excel allows you to along with tracking grades, use functions to get the mean, median, average, mode, and other functions that are not as easily done in a physical gradebook. I would use excel in a class like English to keep track of my students assignments and to see how they do progressively throughout the semester. Ultimately, Excel is a great data collection service that helps people such as teachers to successfully keep track of their students work. 

Topics I found most interesting from reviewing my classmates blogs throughout this semester were that students really enjoyed using blogging and Twitter. The twitter project allowed for students to express themselves in tweets while using the functions. Some of my classmates mentioned how they enjoyed learning new functions of Twitter that they were not familiar with prior to this course. Along with Twitter, the weekly blogging we were my peers favorite because it allowed them to have a more relaxed take on school assignments.

A technology related skill I would like to learn next is how to work more in depth with excel and what it has to offer. We only scratched the surface in terms of learning its functions but I find that I could use excel to help me in my everyday life in ways like paying bills, keeping my finances in order, and overall being more organized. Ultimately, this course has allowed me to use a multitude of technological functions, and for that I am grateful!
