The concept of a Flipped Classroom is very smart. The students being able to teach the lessons allows them to have a more well rounded grasp on the topic because they are forced to think of it in a way that it can be explained and understood by others. One problem that may occur with the Flipped Classroom though, is that students being that they are learning the topic at the same time as teaching it may not have a good way of explaining the topic which can lead to confusion amongst those who are being taught.

An open educational resource is a resource that is open to the public for it’s usage. Students regardless of location or school are able to use these resources to their benefit which helps them excel in their educational path. These resources are typically used for research which allows students to do things such as, write papers, discussions, and such things. An example of a OER is Khan Academy. Khan academy is a platform used by students to help them better understand materials of all subjects. The website starts by asking if you are a student or teacher, asks for your school name, and your birth date, and then allows you to access its information. It is a very self explanatory website but is extremely useful.

The powerpoint assignments were extremely helpful in broadening my knowledge on the use of Powerpoint in general. They allowed me to use my knowledge but also challenged me to make myself a more well-rounded student. For the most part in terms of the first assignment I did not have an kind of problem with it. I was very happy to use my creative abilities to make it my own. The second assignment was not as fun because I felt extremely lost. I was constantly looking for answers on how to go about it but I was still failing to understand how to do certain things. Ultimately, both assignments challenged me as a student but I was very happy when I finished both.
